These past couple days, I've had to sit out running as well. And its not because of injury. I've just been sick. Bad head colds, sore throats, chest colds, runny noses, etc. I have it all. I've been sneezing so hard I've felt my own back pains (and at one point thought I threw out my shoulder). I've desperately wanted to go running, but could barely breath moving from one room to the next. Hopefully I can get something light in tomorrow and build back up. Im glad to hear you were able to get back out today. Also glad to hear that you are taking it easy and not risking any injury. The last thing you want to do is compound anything before Philly. Good luck in your recovery and on going training.
